"No Drugs"

"No Drugs"
is the message stitched in red over a dark blue border at the top
of Estrada's
red chest protector. The message comes through loud and clear
with every TV
tight shot of Estrada on defense.
"It has to do with my upbringing and the neighborhood I grew up in,
"Estrada
said. "As a kid, I
saw a lot of drugs destroy a lot of people's lives,
including
friends and family. I've seen a lot of people not able to fulfill their
dreams
because of drugs."
While
attending College of the Sequoias Johnny wore a "No Drugs" necklace
on and off
the field.
"It's my
message to kids, to tell them of the dangers of drugs and to tell them
to stay
away from drugs," Estrada said. "Messages like that helped me get
where I am
today."
